Water main upgrade complete at Moe’s major roundabout
Gippsland Water has recently upgraded part of Moe’s water network to ensure ongoing reliability for its customers.
The works involved replacing a section of old water main attached to the bridge between Anzac Street and Lloyd Streets in Moe, at the major roundabout.
The Anzac Street water main was first installed in the 1940s and feeds water between the north and south of Moe.
The $700,000 project commenced in May and was completed ahead of schedule earlier this month
Gippsland Water would like to thank customers, road users and pedestrians for their patience and cooperation over the last month.
This work is part of a series of upgrades planned for the Moe town water system, which started in April.
