Top up your water bottle for free at our drinking fountains.

We're working to make tap water more accessible across central Gippsland.

That’s why we’ve partnered with local councils and community groups to install fountains at community spaces across our service area.

You can help us reduce the number of plastic bottles ending up in landfill by refilling your drink bottle or sipping from bubblers rather than buying bottled water.

Why refill your water bottle when you’re out and about?

  • It will save you money
  • It helps the environment and reduces waste
  • It keeps you hydrated and it's good for your health

How it works

Councils and the community can suggest locations for sponsored drinking fountains using the form below.

Once a year, we review all suggestions before deciding which locations we can sponsor.

We take a number of factors into account before deciding which locations we will sponsor. These include:

  • the popularity of locations
  • accessibility by the public
  • the availability of nearby water mains
  • the agreement of the landowner (usually a local council or committee of management)

Once a decision is made, we donate the fountains to a council or community group who must take full responsibility including costs for the installation, ongoing maintenance and ownership of the fountain.

Suggested locations that could not be included remain on file and are considered again in our next round of fountain allocations.
