Avoid contact with water at Lake Narracan

Gippsland Water is asking the public to avoid contact with Lake Narracan over the weekend.

Diluted sewage has spilled in the area and Gippsland Water is advising the community to avoid contact with the water as a precautionary measure.

Crews are onsite responding to the situation and are focused on minimising public impact as much as possible.

The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) and Latrobe City Council have been informed.
