Customers in Morwell, Jeeralang, Jumbuk and Thorpdale can resume normal water use.

Gippsland Water has confirmed customers in Morwell, Jeeralang, Jumbuk and Thorpdale can resume normal water use, with water storages now at normal levels.

The update follows advice issued to customers on Wednesday February 14, 2024 and Friday February 16, 2024 to put off any non-essential water use due to power outages, which impacted water storage levels.

Customers are reminded to use water responsibly and follow the permanent water saving rules.

Gippsland Water thanks customers for their cooperation and patience over the last five days and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
