Gippsland Water looks for next generation of engineers
Gippsland Water is on the hunt for the next generation of engineers with applications for their graduate engineering program open now.
Managing director Sarah Cumming said the organisation has a long history of supporting the region’s graduates into professional employment.
“We’re a major employer in Gippsland and are committed to supporting local jobs.
“For more than 10 years, we’ve offered graduates that vital first step into their professional careers in a number of vocations like engineering, science and environment.
“This year, we’re delighted to provide Gippsland’s future engineers this opportunity.
“We’re proud to offer this program to those starting their careers without the need to travel to Melbourne.”
The graduate engineering program is a two year professional development program giving participants the chance to develop under the guidance of experienced professional and technical mentors.
“This is the second year the graduate engineering program has run in this form with all previous participants securing employment locally in the engineering field.”
Applications close on Tuesday 29 September 2020.
