Tyers, Glengarry, Toongabbie and Cowwarr to put off non-essential water use

Put off non-essential water use Tyers, Glengarry, Toongabbie and Cowwarr

Gippsland Water is asking customers in Tyers, Glengarry, Toongabbie and Cowwarr to put non-essential water use where they can.

This is due to ongoing power outages, which are impacting the rate at which water supplies can be replenished.

The organisation is currently drawing down on its treated water storages to meet demand.

To help conserve storages, customers should take shorter showers (aim for 4 minutes) and avoid using baths, washing cars, watering gardens and using high pressure hosing.

Customers can be assured their water is still safe to drink.

To report any leaks or breaks, call 1800 057 057.
