Urgent conserve water alert for Mirboo North

Gippsland Water is asking customers in Mirboo North to conserve water until further notice.

Crews are responding to a main break and power outage in the town caused by today’s wild weather.

The site is not yet accessible for repairs due to storm damage.

This means water can’t be treated at the usual rate, water storages are depleting rapidly and customers may experience low pressure.

Customers should limit their tap water use to drinking purposes only.

Gippsland Water phone lines are also currently down.
